Stuck...

Yup thats the name of it...STUCK! Not as in food though...as in my weight will not BUDGE...ok ok ok it will budge upward but not downward!!! I have been stuggling the past week or so and I even added more exercise into my regiman and for some reason my weight is fluctuating between 190 and 193lbs...I am trying to get to the 180s, but for some reason my body is just not having it right now! HELP!!!

The positive news....I bought my first size 12 jeans :o) SO exciting!! I would be even more excited though if I could get myself into the 180s...any tips or ideas would be GREAT for me!!

I hope you all are doing great out there...Keep up the awesome work...I am reading the great things you all are doing. As always, lets shed those extra pounds together!!

  1. Hope you get "unstuck" soon! Pictures look great! Can I ask how tall you are? I am always trying to figure out body size--I have such a warped version in my head and you and I are about 10 pounds apart and you look so NORMAL!!! I always wonder--do I look look that now? You are still a few pounds lighter than me, but I figure we are pretty close. Thanks!!! And good luck with your continued progress!

  2. Sounds like maybe you need to "jumpstart" your metabolism by maybe allowing yourself some more calories (if you're counting), that works for me sometimes.

Or if you're not tracking - maybe start and that could be a real eye-opener into why you're not losing.

    Either way, good luck!

  3. Lady! I was in a slump for over a month! Then bam I am on a slow downward slope. I agree with the tracking...and also allowing a little more calories might help. At least that is what I hear!

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO size 12s??? I am mega jealous!

  4. Wow, size 12s!! What a huge NSV! That's always been what I consider the first "normal" size. Yay for you!

So, if tacking on some calories isn't helping, try a day or two of low/no carbs or shakes only. Ok, so I haven't plateaud yet, but that is my plan of attack when I inevitably do.
